Bhai Tika is being celebrated not only in Nepal but also by Nepalis and Nepali-speaking communities around the world. The International Panchang Decision Committee has announced auspicious timings (Sait) for Bhai Tika based on different countries.
While in Nepal, the most auspicious time (Muhurat) for Bhai Tika was set at 11:39 AM on October 23 (Kartik 6), in New Delhi, India, the auspicious time was slightly later at 11:55 AM on October 23. In the United States and Canada, the auspicious time to apply Bhai Tika fell a day earlier, on October 22.
