Miss Universe Nepal Sanya Aadhikari has departed for Thailand to participate in the 74th edition of Miss Universe. She was bid farewell at Tribhuvan International Airport by Sangita Puri, National Director of Miss Universe Nepal, along with representatives of the organizing team.
This year’s Miss Universe pageant is being held in Thailand in November 2025. The grand finale is scheduled for November 21 at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, in the Bangkok Metropolitan Region. This is the fourth time Thailand is hosting the Miss Universe competition.
A total of 119 contestants from around the world will compete for the coveted title, and notably, Saudi Arabia is participating for the first time in the history of Miss Universe. The National Costume show and preliminary competitions will begin from November 19.
Sanya won the title of Miss Universe Nepal 2025 during the grand finale held at Royal Tulip Hotel in Lalitpur last October. Along with the crown, she received a cash prize of NPR 200,000 and several gifts worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.
Miss Universe Nepal is organized in Nepal by Global Glamour Ventures, which has been hosting the national pageant for the past few years.
