Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki is set to hold a Cabinet meeting today. Appointed on 27 Bhadra through the strength of the Jenji Movement, Karki is preparing to induct four new ministers into her government.
According to sources at Baluwatar, the new ministers will be:
- Khagendra Sunar – Minister for Labour and Employment
- Ganpatilal Shrestha – Minister for Tourism
- Bablu Gupta – Minister for Youth and Sports
- Sudha Sharma Gautam – Minister for Health
The Prime Minister has already sent their names to the Office of the President, and the four are expected to be sworn in later today.
Previously appointed ministers include:
Om Prakash Aryal (Home), Rameshwar Khanal (Finance), Kulman Ghising (Energy), Mahabir Pun (Education), Madan Pariyar (Agriculture), Jagdish Kharel (Communication), and Anil Kumar Sinha (Industry).
