Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 62.29 points to settle at 2,571.34 today. This is a 2.48% rise in the overall market index.
A total of 92,43,723 shares of 314 companies were traded in 47,094 transactions, resulting in a total turnover of Rs. 4.57 billion.
Except for the Trading sector, all other sub-indices saw gains today. Nyadi Hydropower Limited and Butwal Power Company Limited hit the positive circuit limit during today’s trading session. Meanwhile, Himalayan Power Partner Limited recorded the highest loss of the day with its share price declining by 6.36%.
