The central committee meeting of the CPN (Unified Socialist) is starting today. According to Party Vice Chairman and Head of the Publicity Department Prakash Jwala, the meeting will begin at 11 AM on Wednesday at Miracle Party Venue in Sukedhara, Kathmandu, and will continue until tomorrow.
The meeting will discuss the current political situation of the country, the party’s responsibilities, the Gen-Z movement, and preparations for the upcoming elections.
The party unity task force is also scheduled to present a report on the discussions and progress made toward party unification. The Unified Socialist has been initiating efforts to unite with leftist parties, including the Maoist Centre.
