 
        The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed higher on Thursday, the final trading day of the week. According to NEPSE, the benchmark index increased by 34.22 points to reach 2,600.38 points.
Out of the 13 trading subgroups, 12 posted gains, while only one subgroup declined.
Promoter shares of Himalayan Bank were the most actively traded, recording a transaction value of over Rs 1.66 billion.
Gurans Laghubitta and Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha were the top gainers of the day, each hitting the positive circuit limit of 10%.
In total, 2,60,10,718 shares of 319 companies were traded, amounting to over Rs 7.51 billion in turnover.
