In a shooting incident in Texas, USA, three people including a minor have died. According to Texas police, the deceased are 53-year-old Lalit Pradhan, his 37-year-old wife Ranjana Shrestha, and their 3-year-old son Pranish Pradhan.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Lalit shot and killed his wife and son before shooting himself. Although the police found Lalit alive at the scene, he died while being taken to the hospital. His wife and son died at the scene.
Lalit is reported to be a Nepali-speaking Bhutanese refugee. His wife Ranjana’s family is from Kathmandu. Before coming to the United States, Lalit was in a refugee camp in Nepal. The motive behind Lalit’s killing of his wife and son remains unclear. The police have stated that further investigations are ongoing.
