The CPN (Maoist Centre) has called a meeting of its Central Convention Organizing Committee Secretariat to discuss the issue of party unification. The meeting is scheduled to be held at 3 PM today at the party’s central office in Paris Danda, Kathmandu.
According to party leader Devendra Poudel, the meeting will deliberate on unification and organizational management with parties such as the CPN (Unified Socialist) and the Nepal Samajbadi Party, along with discussions on power-sharing and modality of unification.
This meeting follows the decision made by the Unified Socialist’s Central Committee on Friday, which formally resolved to pursue unification with the Maoist Centre.
