Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced new prices for petroleum products.
According to the decision made at the corporation’s board meeting on Friday, the price of diesel and kerosene has been reduced by NPR 1 per liter, while the price of petrol remains unchanged.
The new prices will come into effect from 1 AM on Friday night.
Similarly, the corporation has increased the price of aviation fuel. The price for domestic aviation fuel has been raised by NPR 1 per liter, while the price for international flights from Kathmandu has been increased by USD 7 per kiloliter.
NOC stated that the price adjustment was made based on the new purchase rates received from the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). As per the new rates, the price of petrol has increased by NPR 0.03 per liter, aviation fuel by NPR 0.86 per liter, and diesel has decreased by NPR 1.19 per liter.
