CPN-UML Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai has welcomed party Chairman KP Sharma Oli’s call for former leaders who had contributed to the UML’s formation but are currently outside the party to return.
Posting on social media, Bhattarai wrote, “The call made by the UML Chairman to comrades who contributed to building the party to rejoin this movement is both welcome and timely.”
He further stated that uniting the entire leftist movement under the leadership of CPN-UML, guided by the principle of People’s Multiparty Democracy (Jana Andolan Bahudaleya Janabad), is today’s national responsibility.
Bhattarai added, “Those who believe in the principle of achieving Nepal’s progressive transformation through peaceful, legal, and competitive means must find their center in UML. By abandoning prohibition, revenge, and hatred, and embracing cooperation and coexistence, we can strengthen and unify the CPN-UML.”
