Al Nassr maintained their dominance in the Saudi Pro League with a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Al Fayha on Saturday night.
Star forward Cristiano Ronaldo was the hero of the match, scoring both goals to secure three crucial points for Al Nassr.
The game began with a setback for Al Nassr, as Al Fayha took a surprise lead in the 13th minute through a goal by Jason. However, Ronaldo equalized for the home side in the 37th minute, bringing the match level at 1–1 before halftime.
Al Nassr continued to pile on pressure in the second half but couldn’t find the winner during regular time. Finally, in stoppage time (90+15 minutes), they were awarded a penalty, which Ronaldo calmly converted to seal a dramatic 2–1 victory.
With this win, Al Nassr continue to assert their strength in the Saudi Pro League, while Ronaldo once again proved decisive with his brilliant performance.
