Three people have died after being buried in an avalanche in Dolakha. The incident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, according to Assistant Chief District Officer Aulakh Bahadur Ale.
Out of the 15 climbers—both Nepali and foreign—who had set out to climb Yalungri Himal, three lost their lives, while 12 remain missing, Ale said.
The identities of the deceased and missing persons have not yet been confirmed, according to the Dolakha District Police Office. Police said that search and rescue operations are currently underway.
