After the unification of eight political parties and groups, including the CPN (Maoist Centre) and CPN (Unified Socialist), the new party will be named the “Nepali Communist Party.”
The decision was approved during the final meeting of the National Convention Organizing Committee of the Maoist Centre held on Tuesday.
According to Maoist leaders, discussions on the proposed name will also be held with other parties and groups involved in the unification. Once a consensus is reached, the unified party will be officially announced.
