
Fourteen people were injured when a passenger bus traveling from Mulgau, Dharmadevi Municipality-9 of Sankhuwasabha to Damak met with an accident.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Leelaraj Lamichhane of the District Police Office, Tehrathum, the bus (Ba 2 Pa 7244) veered off the road and fell about 10 meters down at Deurali bend in Laligurans Municipality-1, located on the border of Sankhuwasabha and Tehrathum districts.
The injured have been identified as:

Among them, 23-year-old Sabin Bishwokarma is in serious condition and has been referred to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for advanced treatment. The others are receiving treatment at Basantapur Hospital.
Following the accident, the bus driver, Khem Mahat of Dharmadevi-6, Sankhuwasabha, fled the scene, police said.
