
The meeting of the House of Representatives will convene today at 1:00 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.
Today’s agenda includes oral questions to be answered by the ministers of Communication and Information Technology, Foreign Affairs, Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Health and Population, and Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.
Communication and Information Technology Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung will present a proposal for consideration of the “Information Technology and Cyber Security Bill, 2082.”
In addition, four parliamentary committee meetings are scheduled for today. According to the set agenda, the Finance Committee, Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee, Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee, and the Federalism Strengthening and National Concern Committee will hold sessions.
The Finance Committee will conduct a clause-by-clause discussion on the “Bill on Provisions for Mobilization of Alternative Development Financing.” The Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee will hold discussions with the Home Minister regarding the incident at Kailali Prison on Shrawan 23, its impacts, and possible solutions.
The Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee will discuss the “Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Land, 2082.” Similarly, the Federalism Strengthening and National Concern Committee will deliberate on key aspects highlighted in the 62nd report of the Auditor General.
