The semifinals of the Kava U-19 Women’s Volleyball Championship, currently underway in Sri Lanka, are being held today. In the first semifinal, hosts Sri Lanka will take on Kyrgyzstan at 2:00 PM Nepal time.
Similarly, in the second semifinal, Nepal will face the Maldives at 4:30 PM. The semifinals have been set up between the top and fourth, and second and third teams of the points table after the round-robin league stage.
Nepal had lost its first match against Kyrgyzstan but went on to defeat Sri Lanka in the second match and the Maldives in the third. With two wins from three games, Nepal topped the points table, followed by Sri Lanka in second, Kyrgyzstan in third, and the Maldives in fourth place.
The final and the third-place matches will be played tomorrow.
