The extended meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Central Committee, which has been underway in Chitwan since Friday, is concluding today. According to party spokesperson Manish Jha, today’s agenda includes presenting the report on the public signature campaign against the political vendetta targeting party president Rabi Lamichhane.
Today’s session will also feature presentations on constituency-level self-assessment forms, the preliminary draft of the party’s election manifesto, and the candidate selection process. Additionally, local cultural performances and group discussions are scheduled for the day.
Earlier, following the opening session on Friday, Acting President D.P. Aryal had presented the political report, while General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti tabled a proposal on the party’s organizational structure.
A total of 512 representatives are participating in the meeting, including central and secretariat members, advisors, heads of central departments, provincial secretariat members, constituency presidents, district presidents, leaders of foreign chapters, and municipal presidents.
