The Nepali Congress has called an emergency meeting of its Central Working Committee.
The meeting is scheduled to take place today at 1:00 PM at the party’s central office, BP Smriti Bhawan in Lalitpur.
According to Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel, all office bearers, members, invited members, and presidents of all seven provincial committees have been requested to attend the meeting.
The meeting is expected to pass a condolence resolution on the demise of former minister Mohammad Aftab Alam.
