Nepal defeated India by 92 runs in their second Bowl League match of the Hong Kong Sixes, thanks to an outstanding all-round performance by Rashid Khan.
Chasing a target of 138 runs, India was bowled out for just 45 runs in 3 overs. Rashid Khan took 3 wickets in his single over, while Basir Ahmad grabbed 2 wickets and Rupesh Singh claimed 1.
Earlier, India had won the toss and elected to field first. Nepal’s top three batters delivered a strong performance, posting 137 runs without losing a wicket.
Opener Rashid Khan scored 55 runs before retiring hurt, smashing 6 sixes and 4 fours. Fellow opener Sandeep Jora added 47 runs with 5 sixes and 4 fours off just 12 balls, while Lokesh Bam remained unbeaten on 31 runs, hitting 4 sixes and 1 four off 7 balls.
In their previous Bowl League match, Nepal had lost to Sri Lanka by 3 wickets.
