Nepal lost to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 43 runs in the Hong Kong International Sixes Cricket Tournament held in Hong Kong.
Chasing a target of 130 runs set by UAE, Nepal managed to score only 84 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 6 overs. For Nepal, Mohammad Adil Alam scored 32 runs, while Sandeep Jora remained unbeaten on 31.
Earlier, batting first, UAE posted 129 runs losing 5 wickets in 6 overs. Nilash Keswani top-scored with 73 runs, and Zahid Ali contributed 30.
For Nepal, Rashid Khan took two wickets, and Rupesh Singh claimed one. With this defeat, Nepal’s journey in the tournament has come to an end.
Among the 12 participating teams, Nepal managed to secure victory only against India, losing to Afghanistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and now UAE
