The Election Commission is preparing to give political parties two days to submit their closed lists of candidates for the proportional representation system in the upcoming House of Representatives elections.
According to the preliminary election schedule, the submission period for proportional representation closed lists is set for Poush 18 and 19. The commission may make adjustments to this schedule if necessary.
Political parties have already begun preparing their candidate lists for the proportional representation system for the elections scheduled on Falgun 21.
The Rastriya Swatantra Party (Raswapa) has officially announced the call for candidates under the proportional representation system for the House of Representatives elections. The party has also issued a notification outlining the criteria for candidates to be selected as proportional representation lawmakers.
