Four newly appointed ambassadors have presented their credentials to President Ram Chandra Paudel.
At separate special ceremonies held at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, the ambassadors of four countries submitted their letters of credence.
According to Pradeep Kumar Koirala, spokesperson for the Office of the President, the ambassadors presenting their credentials were:
- Sharif Mustafa Alsaid, Ambassador of Egypt to Nepal
- Dagny Myoss, Ambassador of Norway
- Ruwanthi Delpitia, Ambassador of Sri Lanka
- Thant Sin, Ambassador of Myanmar
High-ranking government officials were also present during the ceremony.
The newly appointed ambassadors were escorted in a horse-drawn carriage procession from Hotel Dusit Princess to the Presidential Palace in Kathmandu.
