Norway and Italy emerged victorious in their World Cup qualifying matches.
In last night’s match, Norway defeated Estonia 4–1. Alexander Sørloth and Erling Haaland each scored twice for Norway, while Robi Saarma scored the lone goal for Estonia.
In the same Group I of the European qualifiers, Italy beat Moldova 2–0. Gianluca Mancini and Francesco Pio Esposito scored one goal each for Italy.
With these results, Norway now sits at the top of Group I with 21 points from 7 matches. Italy follows in second place with 18 points from 7 matches. Estonia has 4 points from 8 matches, while Moldova has 1 point from 7 matches.
The next match in this group will be between Norway and Italy on November 17.
