President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Chandra Prasad Dhakal, has said that the federation is working as a “troubleshooter” to address the problems faced by entrepreneurs, businesses, and the national economy.
Speaking at the inauguration of the 16th Annual General Assembly and 6th Convention of the Nepal Electrical Business Association today, Dhakal stated that FNCCI has been consistently engaged in resolving issues affecting entrepreneurs, business communities, and the economic sector.
He said, “The federation has been making efforts to solve the problems of entrepreneurs and businesses—whether it is labor-related issues or the dedicated trunkline dispute. To improve the investment environment, we have held talks with responsible government authorities, recommended changes in laws, and contributed to forming a high-level economic reform advisory commission.”
Dhakal also shared that, under the leadership of the federation and with the participation of various private-sector organizations and their members, a new company—Nepal Development Public Limited—has been established with a capital of NPR 10 billion.
