The Nepal Communist Party is set to organize unity message assemblies across the country. A meeting of the newly formed Nepal Communist Party’s available former office bearers, held on Sunday at the party’s central office in Paris Danda, decided to conduct unity message assemblies at the provincial, district, and municipal levels starting from Mangsir 9, according to party leader Jhala Nath Khanal.
He also informed that the party has decided to publish an appeal to convey the message of unity. Likewise, a special inter-party directive will be issued regarding unity, aiming to strengthen the party as a unified force.
Khanal stated that the inter-party directive will also include the modality of the unity message programs, and that the assemblies will be organized under a banner titled “Unity Message Assembly.” He clarified that their unity is not against anyone, but rather a journey forward with unwavering focus toward socialism by awakening and organizing the general public.
Khanal expressed confidence that discussions with Ashok Rai and Upendra Yadav’s parties are progressing and that unification could take place within a short period. He added that their newly formed party represents all generations, and therefore, cannot be labeled as a party only for the elderly.
