The Nepal Premier League (NPL), organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), officially begins today.
According to the schedule published by CAN, the opening match will feature defending champions Janakpur Bolts against Kathmandu Gorkhas. The match will start at 4 PM at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. Most matches this season will be played under the new floodlights installed at the renovated TU cricket stadium.
The final league-stage match will take place on December 7 between Karnali Yaks and Janakpur Bolts. The playoffs will follow with Qualifier 1 on December 9, the Eliminator on December 10, and Qualifier 2 on December 11. The NPL final is scheduled for Saturday, December 13 (Mangsir 27).
CAN has set match timings at 11:15 AM and 4 PM for days with two matches. On days with only one match, games will start at 4 PM. Additionally, four league matches—and the final—will begin at 3:30 PM.

Estimated earnings include NPR 153 million from sponsors, NPR 90 million from participating teams, NPR 53 million from OTT rights, and NPR 80–120 million from ticket sales.
Prize money remains unchanged from last year. The champion team will receive NPR 11 million, the runner-up NPR 5.1 million, the third-place team NPR 2.5 million, and the fourth-place team NPR 1.5 million.
