The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has submitted an application to the Election Commission for official party registration.
On Monday, leader Lima Adhikari and other party members reached the Election Commission to formally submit their application.
Adhikari stated that the party has applied for registration in preparation for the upcoming National Assembly and House of Representatives elections. She added that the RSP is committed to the rule of law, citizen supremacy, and bringing the constitution back on track.
“We are now election-focused. All our activities are related to the election,” Adhikari said. “As an alternative political force playing a decisive role, our party is moving forward with full responsibility. To restore the rule of law, citizen supremacy, and to bring the constitution on track, we believe all of us must actively engage in the election scheduled for Falgun 21.”
She further claimed that after the Gen-Z movement, the RSP was the first party to demand that the country be taken towards elections.
