Taranath Niraula from Biratnagar has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the Koshi Province Planning Commission.
The decision was made during the meeting of the Koshi Province Council of Ministers held on Wednesday. The cabinet approved the resignation of former Vice-Chairman Dr. Rajendra Adhikari, effective from Kartik 20, and decided to appoint Niraula as his successor.
Niraula is a former employee of Biratnagar Metropolitan City and has also served as the former chairman of Saptakoshi Development Bank.
