The government has made public the 25 decisions taken during Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting. At a press briefing held on Wednesday at the Ministry of Communications, government spokesperson and Minister for Information and Communication Technology Jagdish Kharel announced the details.
According to the decisions:
- Dr. Kalpana Kumari Shrestha has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Sahid Dharmabhakta National Transplant Center.
- Until a new arrangement is made, Amritman Shrestha has been appointed as the Executive Director of Nepal Airlines Corporation.
- Two Nepal Army Major Generals have been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General.
- The government has approved the Armed Police Force Regulations.
- An ordinance has also been approved for submission to the President.
Minister Kharel stated that these decisions encompass administrative, organizational, and regulatory matters aimed at strengthening public service delivery and institutional effectiveness.
