A prisoner who had escaped from Sundhara-based Central Jail during the Gen-Z protests has been arrested by Makwanpur Police.
The police team from the Palung Area Police Office apprehended 32-year-old Bhupendra Basnet, a resident of Basnet Tole, Thaha Municipality-9, who had fled amidst the protests on Bhadra 24.
According to the District Police Office, Basnet has been handed over to Bhimphedi Prison for further legal action.
