Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that the contribution made by Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal in the civil service is exemplary.
Speaking at a farewell ceremony organized in Singha Durbar on Tuesday for Chief Secretary Aryal, who is set to begin mandatory retirement from Wednesday, she expressed deep appreciation for his service.
According to her, Aryal’s hard work, dedication, and administrative leadership have set a high standard.
She noted that Aryal’s commitment to his goals, discipline in his work style, and long administrative experience have left a significant mark on the civil service.
She said, “He is extremely hardworking and diligent. His efforts to achieve goals are commendable. He has left a strong impression as a good and efficient administrator in the civil service. I too have worked with great dedication at times. The Chief Secretary disciplined himself. He worked his whole life and is still not in a condition where he cannot work. He still has the capacity to work for another 20 years.”
Prime Minister Karki also mentioned that Aryal still possesses the capability to continue working for 20 more years. She added that working with him felt like working with a younger brother, which made coordination more comfortable.
