Today is the last day for political parties to register for the House of Representatives election scheduled for 21st Falgun. According to the Election Commission, parties must complete their registration by 10th Mangsir to participate in the election.
As of Tuesday, a total of 80 political parties have registered. Among the parties registered for the upcoming election are the CPN-UML led by KP Sharma Oli, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party led by Rajendra Prasad Lingden, the Nagarik Unmukti Party chaired by Ranjita Shrestha (Chaudhary), Nagarik Shakti Nepal led by Dev Prakash Tripathi, and the Janata Pragatisheel Party Nepal led by Hridayesh Tripathi. The Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Nepal has also completed its registration for the election.
