Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Kulman Ghising has said that the country has entered an election-focused atmosphere.
Speaking at a program organized by the National Youth Council on Wednesday, he said that all political forces have come forward to participate in the elections, ensuring that the polls will be held on the scheduled date. He emphasized the need to conduct the elections on time and urged citizens to use wisdom and judgment while choosing leaders.
He remarked that people should abandon the tendency of making careless choices during elections and later complaining that nothing has changed. He also urged voters to select capable and young leadership in the upcoming polls.
Minister Ghising stated that although the previous leadership succeeded in achieving political change, it failed to lead the country toward development. He stressed the need for leadership that can now drive the nation’s development forward.
