Two matches will be played today under the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) currently underway in Kathmandu.
At the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium, the first match will begin at 11:45 AM and the second at 4:00 PM.
Under Rohit Kumar Paudel’s captaincy, Lumbini Lions aim to defeat Sudurpashchim Royals. Having secured just one win from three matches, Lumbini stands in sixth position on the points table. Sudurpashchim, led by Dipendra Singh Airee, sits at the top with three consecutive wins and a total of six points.
Meanwhile, defending champions Janakpur Bolts led by Anil Shah, and Pokhara Avengers under the captaincy of Kushal Bhurtel, are both seeking their first victory. Both teams have suffered losses in their earlier matches.
