The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested Maniram Pokharel, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) of Prabhu Bank.
On Sunday, a CIB team raided the bank’s central office and detained both CEO Ashok Sherchan and DCEO Pokharel.
Earlier, on Kartik 22, the CIB had raided the bank’s Bijulibazar head office and seized several important documents as part of an ongoing investigation.
Before this, on Kartik 11, Deviprakash Bhattachan, the Chairman of Prabhu Group, had also been arrested.
