Police have arrested six individuals on charges of vandalism and arson at the Morang District Administration Office and the Government Attorney’s Office in Biratnagar.
Those arrested are:
- Mahesh Nepal (41) of Biratnagar Metropolitan City–3
- Awaj Paudel (26) of Biratnagar–5
- Rajiv Yadav (32) of Biratnagar–10
- Tajim Ansari (37) of Biratnagar–10
- Arun Sah (29) of Biratnagar–11
- Balram Kamat (55) of Biratnagar–6
They were detained by a team from the District Police Office, Morang. According to police, the accused were involved in vandalizing and setting fire to government offices during the recent Gen-Z movement.
An investigation has been initiated against them for criminal offenses related to public disorder.
