The Kanti Highway is set to remain closed for 60 days starting Mangsir 20 (December 5) to facilitate ongoing road expansion works.
According to Upendra Maharana, Information Officer and Engineer at the Kanti Highway Road Project, Lalitpur, the closure is necessary due to rock-cutting and wall excavation being carried out for highway upgrading.
During this period, all vehicle movement will be halted daily from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Lalitpur District Administration Office has also issued a public notice requesting commuters to use alternative routes throughout the closure duration.
