
The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), led by Ashok Rai, and the Rastriya Mukti Party (RMP), led by Rajendra Mahato, have announced a move toward operational unity.
The announcement was made today at a program held in Kathmandu. Keshav Jha, a leader of the Rastriya Mukti Party, stated that the immediate objective is to form a strategic working alliance under the framework of unity.
The agreement on operational unity was signed by JSP Chair Ashok Rai and RMP Chair Mahato. Rai had split from Upendra Yadav-led JSP Nepal, while Mahato had parted ways with Mahanta Thakur-led Losp.
