A dispute broke out at the CPN-UML central office in Chyasal on Friday over the selection of delegates for the upcoming general convention.
Members of the UML Indigenous Nationalities Democratic Federation arrived at the office expressing dissatisfaction with the delegate selection process.
The situation escalated when a dispute arose between them and Organization Department Chief Kashi Nath Adhikari, leading to heated arguments and pushing and shoving among the party cadres present at the office.
Similar disputes over alleged discrimination in delegate selection have also been reported in Okhaldhunga, Dhankuta, Dang, and other districts.
