Rastriya Mukti Party (RAMUPA) Nepal has instructed all its organizational committees to recommend candidates for both the First-Past-The-Post (FPTP) and Proportional Representation (PR) categories for the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21.
Based on the decision made by the party’s Central Committee meeting held on Mangsir 1, all district chairpersons, coordinators, and in-charges have been directed to submit the list of recommended candidates to the central office by the end of Mangsir.
In a statement issued by Party Chairperson Rajendra Mahato, district committees have been asked to hold extended meetings with the participation of available central leaders and prepare recommendations for both FPTP and PR seats.
The party has emphasized strict adherence to the legal requirement of ensuring 50 percent women representation in each cluster while recommending PR candidates. Additionally, copies of citizenship certificates, voter ID cards, and—if applicable—documents related to minority or disability status must be included when submitting PR candidate names.
