Prime Minister Sushila Karki and Durga Prasai are scheduled to meet today. The meeting has been fixed for 3 PM at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
According to the Prime Minister’s Press Coordinator, Ram Rawal, the 3 PM slot was arranged in response to Prasai’s request.
Earlier, on Mangsir 12, Prasai had met Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal at Singha Durbar, where he submitted a 27-point demand, including the call to abolish the current system. Today, Prasai is preparing to present these demands directly to the Prime Minister herself.
