As the CPN-UML’s 11th General Convention approaches, party leaders have ramped up gatherings, discussions, and internal dialogues.
Two major convention-focused programs are being held in Kathmandu today. Press Chautari Nepal is hosting an interaction with UML Secretary Lekhraj Bhatt at 2 PM.
Similarly, UML Vice Chair Asta Laxmi Shakya, leader Binda Pandey, and other women leaders aligned with the Ishwar Pokharel camp are holding an interaction program at Hotel Hardik at 1 PM. Leaders including Rachana Khadka and Usha Kiran Timilsina will discuss issues related to the party convention and future leadership.
The UML’s 11th General Convention is scheduled to begin on Mangsir 27 in Kathmandu.
During the convention, Party Chair KP Sharma Oli and Senior Vice Chair Ishwar Pokharel are preparing to compete for future leadership with their respective panels. As a result, the frequency of leaders publicly sharing their views and positions has increased significantly.
