The Nepali Congress has recommended six names, including former Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand, for the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for 21st Falgun from Rupandehi–3.
According to Regional Secretary Lekhnath Bhattarai, Tuesday’s meeting of the Regional Working Committee recommended the following candidates under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) category:
- Bal Krishna Khand
- Sushil Gurung
- Ramesh Khanal
- Ram Chandra Dhakal
- Bimal Dhakal
- Govinda Bahadur Khatri
Similarly, under the proportional representation (PR) category, the committee recommended:
- Jannatun Nisha Dhuniya
- Pushpa Tharuni
- Madhavi Sharma
