CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli has claimed that the party, under his leadership, will unite the nation and move forward on the path of reconstruction and restoration after the 11th National General Convention.
Speaking at an interaction with editors in Kathmandu on Thursday, Oli said that although he had hoped no one would file candidacy against him for the party chairmanship, the situation did not move in that direction. He added that the final discussions on the proposals for the General Convention would be held on Friday, and decisions would be made through consensus.
He stated, “Now, we must focus on national awakening, restoration, reconstruction, and good governance. These four agendas are what I aim to work on, and under my leadership, the party will spearhead these efforts. Unity, restoration, and reconstruction are essential, and after the General Convention, my leadership of the CPN (UML) will carry out these tasks.”
