Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the rates determined for today, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 144.09, while the selling rate stands at NPR 144.69.
Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro is NPR 168.95 and the selling rate is NPR 169.66. The UK pound sterling has been fixed at NPR 192.40 for buying and NPR 193.20 for selling. The Swiss franc is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 181.22 and a selling rate of NPR 181.98.
The Australian dollar’s buying rate is NPR 95.21 and the selling rate is NPR 95.60. The Canadian dollar has been fixed at NPR 104.52 for buying and NPR 104.95 for selling, while the Singapore dollar stands at NPR 111.62 for buying and NPR 112.08 for selling.
For the Japanese yen, the buying rate for 10 units is NPR 9.25 and the selling rate is NPR 9.28. The Chinese yuan has been fixed at NPR 20.46 for buying and NPR 20.55 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is trading at NPR 38.42 for buying and NPR 38.58 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at NPR 39.54 for buying and NPR 39.71 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.58 and a selling rate of NPR 4.60. The UAE dirham is fixed at NPR 39.23 for buying and NPR 39.39 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at NPR 35.26 for buying and NPR 35.41 for selling. The South Korean won (100 units) has been fixed at NPR 9.76 for buying and NPR 9.80 for selling. The Swedish krona is trading at NPR 15.49 for buying and NPR 15.55 for selling, while the Danish krone has been set at NPR 22.61 for buying and NPR 22.71 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also fixed the buying rate of the Hong Kong dollar at NPR 18.52 and the selling rate at NPR 18.59. The Kuwaiti dinar is trading at NPR 469.20 for buying and NPR 471.15 for selling. The Bahraini dinar has been fixed at NPR 382.17 for buying and NPR 383.76 for selling, while the Omani riyal stands at NPR 374.25 for buying and NPR 375.81 for selling.
The buying rate of the Indian currency (INR 100) has been set at NPR 160.00 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary.
