The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported a partial influence of westerly winds across the country.
Due to this effect, Madhesh Province, Bagmati Province, and Lumbini Province are experiencing partly cloudy conditions, while the remaining hilly and mountainous regions are seeing mostly clear weather. Light fog has been observed in a few areas of the Tarai.
This afternoon, fog and mist are likely to persist in some parts of the Tarai. In the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province, partly cloudy conditions are expected, with mostly clear weather elsewhere.
Tonight, fog is expected to continue in a few Tarai areas. The high hilly and Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces will remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country is forecast to have generally clear weather.
