There is a partial influence of westerly winds across the country at present. According to the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the fog and mist seen in some areas of the Tarai are likely to gradually improve by midday today.
Partly cloudy conditions are expected in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while the weather will remain mainly clear in the rest of the country.
Similarly, during the night, fog is likely to persist in some parts of the Tarai. The high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces will remain partly cloudy, whereas the remaining areas will experience mostly clear weather.
