The Central Discipline Committee of the Nepali Congress is set to convene today at 11 AM. This comes ahead of the party’s Central Executive Committee meeting scheduled for 2 PM.
The meeting of the Discipline Committee has been called after Purna Bahadur Khadka issued a statement for the second time in his capacity as acting president.
Although the team led by Gagan Thapa—elected through the special general convention—has received official recognition from the Election Commission, the Khadka faction has continued to carry out parallel activities.
