The Kalimaati Fruit and Vegetable Market Development Committee has fixed the wholesale prices of agricultural produce for today.
According to the committee, big tomato (Indian) is priced at NPR 80 per kg, small tomato (local) NPR 35, small tomato (Indian) NPR 40, small tomato (Terai) NPR 40, red potato NPR 24, red potato (Indian) NPR 24, and dried onion (Indian) NPR 37 per kg.
Similarly, carrot (local) is NPR 55, carrot (Terai) NPR 35, cabbage (local) NPR 55, cauliflower (local) NPR 45, cauliflower (Jyapu local) NPR 70, cauliflower (Terai local) NPR 55, red radish NPR 35, white radish (hybrid) NPR 30, long brinjal NPR 55, and round brinjal NPR 70 per kg.
Likewise, yardlong beans NPR 80, green peas NPR 90, broad beans (local) NPR 30, broad beans (hybrid) NPR 40, broad beans (rajma type) NPR 120, flat beans NPR 120, soybean pods NPR 250, bitter gourd NPR 50, bottle gourd NPR 30, pointed gourd (local) NPR 100, snake gourd NPR 60, sponge gourd NPR 40, ripe pumpkin NPR 60, green pumpkin (long) NPR 25, green pumpkin (round) NPR 40, okra NPR 50, sweet potato NPR 70, bitter cucumber NPR 70, taro root NPR 50, and chayote NPR 60 per kg.
