
Nepal claimed victory in the fourth match of the Women’s T20 International series against Malaysia, winning by six wickets in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday. With this win, the five-match series is now tied 2–2, setting up a decisive final match.
Earlier in the series, Nepal lost the first match by 3 runs, won the second by 6 wickets, and lost the third by 13 runs.
Chasing Malaysia’s target of 112 runs, Nepal reached the goal in 17.3 overs, losing four wickets.
Captain Indu Barma remained unbeaten on 48 runs off 39 balls, while Rubina Chhetri contributed 23 runs off 23 balls.
For Malaysia, Nur Dania Syuhada, Aina Hamizah, and Mahira Izzati took one wicket each.
Batting first after winning the toss, Malaysia scored 111 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. Mas Elysa top-scored with an unbeaten 56 runs, while Mahira and Nur Dania added 18 and 15 runs, respectively.
For Nepal, Kavita Kunwar starred with three wickets, while Pooja Mahato and Kavita Joshi claimed one wicket each.
The decisive fifth and final match of the series will be played tomorrow.
